Inserm UMRS 1155 unit was created in 1965 by Professor G. Richet with the title “Néphrologie normale et pathologique”.  The unit is focused on Common and Rare Kidney Diseases but also operates several core labs providing services to the broader research community. The Genomics and Cell Biology Core provides a range of services such as cell sorting, sequencing, CRISPR / Cas9 and single cell isolation via the Namocell Hana single cell dispenser.
